Bones vs. Savinelli - Bare Pipe Challenge

I am going to pit a $40 unfinished Bones pipe against a $480 unfinished Savinelli Punto Oro Corallo to see if there will be a difference between them as they start their coloration process with use over time. I will be doing time-lapse videos showing their progression from time to time so you can see how they are aging.

Will a Bent Pipe color differently than a straight pipe? Will paying $480 on a pipe give you a better-colored pipe than a $40 pipe?

These are some of the questions we want to find out as we match these two pipes in a head-to-head challenge.
